Info

Named after Little Six, a leader during the Dakota War of 1862, the casino has deep historical ties to the region. It began as Little Six Bingo in 1982 and transitioned into a casino in 1990 following the passage of the federal Indian Gaming Regulatory Act of 1988. After signing a gaming compact with the State of Minnesota, the SMSC expanded its gaming operations, leading to the opening of the current Little Six Casino facility in 2007.
