Info

Pechanga Resort Casino officially opened on June 24, 2002, with a $262 million investment. Designed to reflect the culture of the Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians, the resort initially included an 85,000-square-foot casino, a 1,200-seat showroom, a 515,000-square-foot, 14-story hotel with 522 rooms, a 38,800-square-foot convention center, a 200-seat cabaret lounge, the Eagle’s Nest Lounge, and seven restaurants.

In November 2004, Pechanga underwent a 100,000-square-foot expansion, introducing additional gaming space, a high-limit gaming area, a 54-table poker room, a food court, and Kelsey’s, a sports-themed restaurant.

In 2018, Pechanga completed a $300 million expansion over 27 months, doubling its hotel room capacity to 1,090 rooms. This expansion also included a 25,000-square-foot spa facility, a 40,000-square-foot events center, and a 4.5-acre tropical pool complex featuring a dedicated restaurant, a swim-up bar, three pools, two waterslides, a fountain, and 27 cabanas.

Originally, guests 18 years and older were allowed to gamble, but in 2003, Pechanga raised the minimum gambling age to 21.
